Page history lets you look back through versions that were published historically and spot what changed between a past version and the page you are working on today.
Note: Page history is a beta feature. We are testing whether it is useful to you, and how you use it will shape what we build next. If you have feedback or run into something that does not work as you expect, write to [email protected].
Open page history
Open the page in Isomer Studio.
Select the More actions button (...) next to the publish button.
Under Page history, select View history.
A Page history panel opens on the left. Each entry shows the version number, the date and time it was published, and who published it.
Compare a past version with the current page
Select View changes next to any version. A full-screen comparison opens with two views of the page:
Changes in version N on the left shows the page as it was in that published version.
Current Version on the right shows the page as it is now in the editor, including any saved draft edits you have not published yet.
Blocks that differ between the two are highlighted, with a small badge showing whether content was added, removed, or modified. Scrolling one side scrolls the other, so you stay on the same part of the page in both views.
Adjust the comparison view
Turn highlights off with the Highlight changes switch in the header if you want to read a version without the markers.
Resize the split by dragging the divider between the two views to give one side more room.
Switch to Overlay using the Overlay tab in the header to see one version at a time at full width. Use the Version N / Current switch to flip between them. Select Side by side to return to the two-view layout.
What page history does not do yet
Page history is view-only at this point. You cannot restore a previous version or copy its content back into the page from the history panel.
