Columns of text

Learn how and when to use Columns of text.

Updated over 4 months ago

Columns of text are a great way to display important links or related content in a column layout. This component helps users quickly access key information by organising links or sections into columns.

Check out how the component looks like at sample.isomer.gov.sg.

Limitations

Overall

  • Column of text component title - 100 characters

  • Column of text component description (optional) - 150 characters

  • Max is 6 items (Add item will be disabled)

Per column item

  • Title (mandatory) - 100 characters

  • Description - 200 characters

  • Available column icons - Right arrow, bar chart, line chart, users, office building, stars and globe.

Best practices

  • Use clear headings

Each column should have a concise, descriptive heading. This helps users quickly scan the content and find the sections they are interested in.

  • Keep the text brief

The content within each column should be short and to the point. List only the most important or popular links, keeping the information easily scannable.
