Check out how the component looks like at sample.isomer.gov.sg.

The Call to Action (CTA) component is designed to encourage users to take specific actions, typically at the end of a page or section, providing clear paths for the next step.

  • This component includes a title (mandatory), description, with the option of two CTAs, giving users multiple options for further engagement.

  • You can link it out to another page within the site, external links, files and mailto links.

Limitations

  • Title (mandatory) - 100 characters

  • Description - 100 characters

  • Button text (mandatory) - 50 characters

Best practices for using CTA

  • Use clear and concise language

    • Keep the text short and to the point. A callout should immediately convey its message, so avoid long paragraphs.

  • Do not overuse it

    • Too many can dilute their effectiveness and annoy the user. Keep the number of callouts limited to the most important information.

  • Character limit

    • Title is capped at 100 characters.
