Choose level headings

The font type and size is fixed in Isomer. This is to ensure standardisation of site design and accessibility for better user experience.

Using headings can help to make up a visual hierarchy of text. It would allow readers to scan quickly for relevant information, making the site easier to navigate around. Having the correct text styles applied can help out with your site's SEO as well.

  • You can read up more about headings and SEO here.

You can start by

  • selecting a heading level and start typing.

  • highlighting some text and apply the style that you want.

Tip: To generate out the โ€œOn this pageโ€ section, you would need to have at least two section headings on your page.

Emphasise text

You are able to bold, italicise, underline, and strikethrough text.

  • Common keyboard shortcuts (such as ctrl + b for bold) work as well.

Ordered and numbered list

  • Organise your information by using lists. You can choose two types of list - numbered and bulleted.

  • If you want to make a list with more than one level, press the Tab key on your keyboard.

Add link or files

You will be able to link:

  • site pages

  • external links

  • files

    • Maximum file size: 20 MB

    • Accepted file types: .pdf, .xls, .xlsx, .csv, .tsv

  • mailto links

Tables

Tip: You can copy over tables in your working document over to our editor and the format will be retained.

You can create a table by clicking on the table icon.

To edit the table, click on the settings button. There will be options to:

  • Add columns / row

  • Remove columns / row

  • Merge/split cell

  • Edit table captions (Mandatory)

Add superscript and subscript

There is no anchor function for footnotes in Isomer.

Superscripts are most commonly used for footnotes and endnotes.

  • You place a superscript number (or symbol) after the word or sentence that you want to reference, and the corresponding number or symbol in the footnote indicates the source or further explanation.

Subscripts are more commonly used in mathematical equations.

Divider

There are two ways to get dividers in our editor:

  • Click on the ellipsis menu. There should be an option to choose divider.

  • Type in three dashes without any spacing e.g. โ€œ --- โ€œ and it should be auto-generated.
