A footer is the section at the very bottom of a website page. It usually appears on every page and contains helpful information or links that users might need, especially after scrolling through the content.
It acts like a safety net if a user gets to the bottom of a page and hasn’t found what they need, the footer gives them one last chance to navigate, connect, or get support.
Understanding footer sections
The footer is split into 4 sections:
Section A and B – Custom links
Here, you can choose which links to display — including internal or external links.
Use this area for highlighting partnerships, important resources, or other relevant destinations.
Section C – Social links and Feedback
Social media icons linking to your active platforms.
Contact – This should link directly to your
/contactpage.Feedback – This is required. Include a link to a feedback form or use a
mailto:email link to ensure users can easily share their feedback to digital services.
Section D – Legal information
Includes links to your Privacy Statement and Terms of Use.
You must create these pages and add in your own content.
You will require admin access to update the footer
Editing your footer
Adding custom links
In Settings, go to Footer. You can add a maximum of 8 links per column.
Select the link you want to change
Update the link label and destination
Link label: 70 characters limit
Adding social links
Click on add a link and select your newly created link to update it. Choose your social media channel and paste the full link in. You will see it added to your list of social media links.
Adding contact and feedback form
We've added the links for you, you will need to create the respective pages with your own content.
Adding legal links
We've added the links for you, you will need to create the respective pages with your own content.
